Centre Building 2007

On 23rd march 2007 15 volunteers from Jersey made their way to Bukit lawang North Sumatra Indonesia with a mission to build a community centre, to serve as a health clinic and education centre. This was a partnerhip project between Jersey Overseas Aid and the Bukit Lawang Charitable Trust. Volunteers also built a hand rail for the steep steps from the big bridge, and they made the smaller bridge, which was falling apart, strong and secure again.
